Defending champions Liverpool have made a winning start to the new season of the English Premier League.
Liverpool made a winning start to the new season by defeating Bournemouth 4-2 in last night’s match. Bournemouth made a spectacular comeback against Liverpool, who were leading 2-0, to equalize 2-2 in the 76th minute.
Antoine Semenyo scored both goals for Bournemouth, but Liverpool then came back with goals in the 88th and 94th minutes. Hugo Ekitiek, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa, and Mohamed Salah scored one goal each for Liverpool.
The game began with an emotional tribute to Liverpool striker Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who were killed in a car crash last July.
