Nepal’s winning start in PM Tri – nation cup
Nepal defeated Laos in the Prime Minister’s Cup Tri-National Football Tournament opening match. Nepal defeated Lasos 2-0.
Anant Tamang and Nawayug Shrestha scored goals for Nepal. In the 31st minute, Anant Tamang opened the account with a header from Naveen Lama’s corner. Similarly, in the 56th minute, Nawaug Shrestha scored another great goal in a half volley from 35 yards away to make Nepal’s lead 2-0. Nepal will play now play against Bhutan on March 28, 2023.
