Cristiano Ronaldo mourns Jota’s untimely death
Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his condolences over the death of his teammate Diogo Jota in a car accident. Ronaldo wrote on social media that he recently played for the national team and said that Jota will always be in his memories.
Ronaldo said: “It doesn’t make sense! We were together on the national team recently, and you just got married. I express my condolences to your family, your wife, and your children, and wish them all the strength in the world. I know you will always be with them. Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. We will all miss you.
Football fans around the world have been shocked after the Jota brothers died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday.
