Copa America : Brazil eliminated, Uruguay into semi final
Uruguay has reached the semi-finals of the Copa America. In the quarter-finals of the ongoing Copa America, Uruguay defeated Brazil 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out and reached the semi-finals of the competition.
The game was decided by penalty shootout after both countries could not score any goals in the scheduled 90 minutes.
In the 74th minute of this match, Uruguay’s Nahitan Nandez got a red card and Uruguay was reduced to 10 players. After this victory, Uruguay will face Colombia in the semi-finals. With the defeat, Brazil’s journey to the Copa America is over.
