Lionel Messi wins FIFA Player of the Year 2023
Lionel Messi won the FIFA Player of the Year award. Messi was awarded the title of player of the year 2023 at FIFA’s annual event held in London last night.
Messi beat Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to win the FIFA Player of the Year award. Messi has also won the FIFA player of the year award after winning the 2023 Ballon d’Or award.
He previously won the FIFA Player of the Year award in 2019 and 2022.Similarly, Spain’s Aitana Bonmati won the FIFA Women’s Player of the Year award. Similarly, Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola won the FIFA coach of the year award.
