Manchester City into the finals of Champions League
Manchester City has reached the final of this season’s Champions League with a 5-1 overall result after defeating Real Madrid by 4-0 in the second league of the semi-finals .The first league ended with a 1-1 draw.
Bernardo Silva scored in the 23rd minute to give Manchester City the lead. Silva again scored in the 37th minute and double the lead for Manchester City. Manuel Akanji scored in the 76th minute and Julian Alvarez scored in the 91 minute and secured victory for Manchester City with 4-0.
With this, Manchester City has reached the Champions League final for the second time in the last three seasons. City reached the Champions League final in 2021 and lost to Premier League rivals Chelsea. This is the second time in the club’s history that they have reached the Champions League. City have yet to win the Champions League title.
Now Manchester City will face Inter Milan in the final of this season. The final match will be held on June 10 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
