Kathmandu Rayzrs eliminated, Lalitpur FC into qualifiers
Lalitpur City FC has reached the second qualifier of the ongoing Nepal Super League (NSL) football. Lalitpur reached the second qualifier by defeating Kathmandu Rayzrs by 3-0 in the eliminator held on Tuesday.
In the victory of Lalitpur, Nigerian player Imon Ezekiel scored two goals and French player Papa Ibou Kebe scored one goal. Lalitpur scored 2 goals in the first half and added one goal in the second half.
In the 36th minute of the first half, Ezekiel scored to give Lalitpur the initial lead, and in the 44th minute, Kebe doubled the lead. Likewise, in the 52nd minute of the second half, Ezekiel doubled Lalitpur’s lead by scoring his second goal with a header.
With this win, Lalitpur has reached the second qualifier of this season. Now Lalitpur City will face Pokhara Thunders in the second qualifier. The winner of this match on Thursday will face Dhangadhi FC in the final for the title.
