Nepal & Bangladesh into semi final of SAFF U-20 championship
Nepal and Bangladesh have reached the semi-finals from Group A in the SAFF U-20 championship.
Nepal and Bangladesh reached the semi-finals after Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 in Group A match on Tuesday.
Sri Lanka has been eliminated from the tournament after losing both the Group A matches.
In the first match of the tournament, which started on Sunday, Nepal, which is in Group A, started victoriously by defeating Sri Lanka by 1-0, while India defeated Bhutan by 1-0 in the Group B match on Monday.
Sri Lanka, who lost to Nepal in the first match in Group A, is in a must-win situation to reach the semi-finals, while Bangladesh is playing its first match.
6 countries including Nepal participated in this tournament, Nepal is in Group A with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, while Group B consists of India, Bhutan and Maldives.
Similarly, Nepal is scheduled to play another group stage match against Bangladesh on Thursday.
