ICC T20 WC Qualifiers : Nepal seals victory against Singpapore
Nepal has made a winning start in the selection of the Asia region of the T20 World Cup. Nepal started victoriously by defeating Singapore by 8 wickets. Chasing the target of 146 runs given by Singapore, Nepal achieved the target by losing 2 wickets in 16.3 overs.

For Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel scored 74 runs while captain Rohit Poudel scored 35 unbeaten runs and Kushal Malla scored 6 unbeaten runs. Similarly, opener Asif Shiekh was dismissed after scoring 27 runs.
Earlier, after winning the toss and batting first, Singapore scored 145 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

For Singapore, Rohan Rangarajan scored 46 runs, while Manpreet Singh scored 24, Aryavir Chaudhary scored 37 and Akshay Puri scored 13. Other Singaporean batsmen could not score runs in double figures.
Similarly, Nepali bowler Avinash Bohora took 3 wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane, Gulshan Jha and Karan KC took 2 wickets each.
Now Nepal will play against Malaysia in the next match under Group A on Tuesday. This match is starting from 1:15 pm at TU ground. Singapore is facing Oman on Tuesday.
