IPL : Play off teams confirmed
The Indian Premier League (IPL) playoff teams has been confirmed. In the last two matches completed on Saturday, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 4 wickets, while the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals was abandoned due to rain.
In this season of IPL, Kolkata is at the top position with 20 points, while Sunrisers is at the second position with 17 points. Now Kolkota and Sunrisers will play in the first qualifier. This match will be held in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21,
Similarly, on the basis of run rate with 17 points, Rajasthan Royals is in the third position and Royal Challengers Bengaluru is in the fourth position with 14 points. Now Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play in the eliminator. The eliminate match will be held in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, May 22.
The winning team in the first qualifier will go directly to the final, while the losing team will play the second qualifier against the winner of the eliminator. The second qualifier match will be played in Chennai on Friday, May 24. The final match of this season will be held in Chennai on May 26 , Sunday.
