Madhesh Province defeated Karnali Province by 61 runs in the match played at TU Cricket Ground today.
Chasing the target of 232 runs given by Madhesh Pradesh, Karnali Pradesh was all out by scoring 170 runs in 41.1 overs.
Batting first, Madhesh Pradesh scored 231 runs after losing 9 wickets in 50 overs.
This is the third victory of Madhesh province in the ongoing competition. Madhesh has climbed to third place with 6 points in 5 games.
Similarly, Karnali province suffered its second defeat. Karnali is in seventh place with 4 points in 4 games.
Now Madhesh province will play against Sudurpaschim at TU ground on Monday, while Karnali province will play against Bagmati province in Mulpani on Monday itself.
