Nepal & UAE reaches the final of ACC Premier Cup
Nepal has reached the final after the semi-final match of the ACC Premier Cup was canceled due to rain. Nepal will play the final of the ACC Premier Cup as the group winner after the game stopped due to heavy rain in the TU cricket ground .

Chasing a huge winning target of 281 runs for victory, the game was stopped when Kuwait lost 6 wickets in 8.3 overs and scored 37 runs.
According to the Duckworth-Lewis rule, the match was abandoned as at least 20 overs were required to determine the result. After losing the toss and batting first, Nepal performed brilliantly at the TU Cricket Ground.

Nepal scored 281 runs losing 9 wickets in 42 overs. After rain affected the middle of the match, a target of 281 runs was set for Kuwait according to the Duckworth-Lewis rule.
Captain Rohit Paudel scored a whopping 94 runs for Nepal. Rohit scored 94 runs off 95 balls hitting 7 fours and 3 sixes. Kushal Malla scored 57 runs and Kushal Bhurtel scored 43 runs. Asif Sheikh scored 31 runs, Arif Sheikh scored 18 runs, Bhim Sarki scored 1 run, Sandeep Lamichhane scored 5 runs, Sompal Kami scored 13 runs unbeaten, Lalit Rajbanshi scored 2 runs and Karan KC scored 7 runs.

In the next semi-final match, UAE defeated Oman by 2 runs based on the Duckworth Lewis rule and reached the final. Chasing the target of 237 runs given by UAE, Oman scored 190 runs losing 6 wickets in 43 overs. After that, the match was decided by the Duckworth-Lewis rule as the rain prevented the game from taking place.
Now the final match will be held at TU Cricket Ground next Monday. The team that wins the ACC Premier Cup will play against India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup in Pakistan next September.
