Nepal’s important victory against PNG
Nepal has won a hard-fought 3-wicket win against Papua New Guinea at Dubai Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Opening batsman Aasif Sheikh scored 86 runs and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 35 runs for Nepal, in Dubai, UAE, and gave Nepal victory.
Aasif and Sandeep, who were in crisis after losing 5 important wickets for 55 runs, managed to win by playing the game till the end.
Today’s victory for Nepal, which lost to the home team UAE by 68 runs, managed to get an important 2 points. Earlier, after winning the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Papua New Guinea batted first and made a moderate total of 181 runs.
On the bowling side, Sompal Kami took 2 wickets for Nepal. Now in the last match, Nepal will play against the host UAE on Sunday.
