PM CUP : NPC starts PM Cup with a victory

Nepal Police Club starts PM Cup with a victory. Nepal Police Club defeated Bagmati Province by 68 runs. Chasing the target of 283 runs given by the police, Bagmati scored 214 runs in 42.3 overs.

Batting first, Police scored 282 runs in 50 overs losing 8 wickets. Police who won the toss and batted first scored 282 runs losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs. Rashid Khan played a 106-run century for Police. He hit 9 fours and 6 sixes in 112 balls.

Similarly, Aarif Sheikh played a half-century of 57 runs. Police captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored 21 runs while Sunil Dhamala and Arjun Saud scored 20 runs each.

Bagmati’s Rijan Dhakal and Surya Tamang took three wickets each. Likewise, Gautam KC and Sonu Devkota took 1 wicket each.

For Bagmati, Ashutosh Ghiraiya scored the highest half-century of 92 runs. He hit 9 fours and 4 sixes in 87 balls. Similarly, Ishan Pandey scored 44 runs while Sonu Debkota added 19 runs. Sagar Dhakal took three wickets for Police. Similarly, Karan KC, Rashid Khan and Dipendra Singh Airee took two wickets each.
