NPL-2: Pokhara’s first win in NPL, Janakpur loses again
Pokhara Avengers defeated Janakpur Bolts by 25 runs in the second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday.
Chasing a target of 156 runs set by Pokhara, Janakpur scored 130 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
For Janakpur, Bane Pranil scored the highest 50 runs, while Sanjay Krishnamurthy scored 25 runs, and Maaz Sadaqat scored 20 runs. Meanwhile, Pokhara bowler Bipin Khatri took the most wickets with 4, while Sumeet Verma took 2 and Kushal Bhurtel and Jimmy Neesham took one wicket each.
