Nepal lost against UAE
Nepal lost to UAE by three wickets in the warm-up match before the ICC World Cup ODI Qualifiers. This is Nepal’s third consecutive defeat in practice matches. Chasing the target of 277 runs for victory, UAE finished by losing 7 wickets in 49.5 overs.

Earlier, after winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Nepal scored 276 runs in 49.5 overs. Nepal’s opener Ashif Shaikh played the highest half-century innings of 76 runs.
Nepal lost Kushal Bhurtel as the first wicket with a score of 39 runs in the second ball of the 19th over.
Kushal Malla scored 45 runs, while Arif Sheikh scored 35 runs. Bhim Sharki scored 25 runs, Sompal Kami contributed 16 runs, Gulshan Jha 11 and Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 8 runs.
this is the consecutive defeat in the practice match for Nepal. Earlier, Nepal lost to the Netherlands and Scotland in practice matches in South Africa. Nepal will play their last practice match against Oman on Thursday.
