ICC T-20 CWC : India reached to Super 8
India has reached the Super Eight of the ongoing T20 World Cup. In last night’s match, India secured their place in the Super Eight after defeating USA by 7 wickets and securing their third win in a row.
Chasing the target of 111 runs given by USA , India achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 18.2 overs. In India’s win, Surya Kumar Yadav scored 50 runs and Shivam Dube scored 31 runs.
Before this, USA batted first and scored 110 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Nitish Kumar scored 27 runs for USA and Steven Taylor scored 24 runs.
After this win, India is at the top position from Group A with 6 points from 3 matches and has reached the Super Eight. Similarly, USA has 4 points in 3 games. Now India will play against Canada on June 15 and USA will play against Ireland on June 14.
