Rupsey Holidays is the main sponsor of Lalitpur Queens

Lalitpur – Rupsey Holidays, a leader in the travel and tour sector, has announced that it will be the main sponsor of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League team, Lalitpur Queens. Rupse Holidays, which has been sponsoring Lalitpur since the first edition, renewed its agreement for the second edition on Tuesday.


A memorandum of understanding was signed between Queens General Manager Utsav Shakya and Rupse Holidays Business Development Head Bhuwan Basnet at a program held at the Queens office in Lalitpur. Basnet said that Rupse Holidays is happy to support Lalitpur Queens’ women’s empowerment plan during the agreement.

Lalitpur Queens has been participating in the Everest Women’s Volleyball League, prioritizing the expansion of women’s volleyball and the promotion of women’s empowerment in sports. “We are happy to support Lalitpur in this work,” said Basnet. “This time, the team is stronger than the last edition due to a good combination of local and foreign players, and we are confident that the results will be excellent. Best wishes to Lalitpur Queens for victory,” Basnet added.

Shakya thanked Rupse Holidays for re-trusting Lalitpur Queens and joining the team as the main sponsor. “We are grateful to Rupse Holidays for their continued trust in us and for supporting us once again,” said Shakya.

The Lalitpur Queens team will take to the court under the leadership of Utsav Khadka, one of the most successful coaches in domestic volleyball. The team’s marquee player and captain is Salina Shrestha, while Lalitpur purchased Sangam Mahato, Laxmi Chand, Sunita Rai, Salina Budha Magar, Nisha Chaudhary, Shristi Khadgi, and Bhawana Dangi from the auction.

Lalitpur has appointed three-time South Asian Games gold medalist Ayesha Shakya as its Goodwill Ambassador.

The second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League will be held from Bhadra 20 to 28.
