NPC squad for Jay Trophy announced, Aarif Sheikh, to captain
Departmental Team Nepal Police Club has announced the team for the Jay Trophy Men’s Elite Cup under the captaincy of Aarif Sheikh.
Police announced the final 15-member team under Sheikh’s captaincy on Friday. Similarly, as the regular police captain Dipendra Singh Airee went to participate in the ILT20 in UAE, the police gave Aarif the responsibility of captaincy.
Jay Trophy organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) will be held in Janakpur and Birgunj of Madhesh Pradesh from the 21st to the 29th Poush. Police will play Tribhuvan Army Club on the first day.
Nepal Police Team: Aarif Sheikh (Captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Gulshan Jha, Karan KC, Lalit Rajbanshi, Amit Shrestha, Dilip Nath, Shravan Yadav, Sunil Daulayan, Sagar Dhakal, Shankar Rana, Abhinash Karn, Rashid Khan, Arjun Saud and Deepak Serala.
