FIFA WC: Sweden’s stunning victory over Tunisia

Sweden has made a winning start to the ongoing World Cup, defeating Tunisia 5-1 in a Group F match at the Monterrey Stadium in Mexico. Yacine Ayari scored two goals in Sweden’s win, while Alexander Isak, Victor Gökeres, and Matthias Svanberg each scored one goal.

Omar Rekic scored one goal for Tunisia. After this victory, Sweden is at the top of Group F with 3 points. In Group F, Japan and the Netherlands have drawn and have one point each.

Sweden will now play their next World Cup matches against the Netherlands on June 20 and Japan on June 26. Similarly, Tunisia will play Japan on June 21 and the Netherlands on June 26.
