Nepal’s thrilling win against Namibia
Nepal has achieved a thrilling victory over Namibia. Nepal defeated Namibia by 3 runs in the ongoing triangular T20 series match.
Chasing the target of 181 runs given by Nepal, Namibia scored 177 runs while losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and Nepal won the match by 3 runs.
In the last over, 12 runs were needed for victory for Namibia, but Karan KC bowled brilliantly and gave only 8 runs for one wicket to give victory to Nepal.
Opener Aasif Sheikh got dismissed in just 1 run. Kushal Malla played a half-century for Nepal. Kushal scored 55 runs. Similarly, Aarif Sheikh scored an important 31 runs, while Gulshan Jha scored 26, Anil Shah scored 23, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 16, Rohit Paudel scored 10, KC scored 7 runs,
Similarly, Ben Shinkongo of Namibia took the most 3 wickets, while Jack Brassell took 2 wickets and Jan Nicol Loftie Eaton, Ruben Trumpelmann and Bernard Scholtz took one wicket each.
This is Nepal’s first win in this series. After this win, Nepal has 2 points in 3 games. Similarly, Namibia has 4 points in 3 matches.
Now in the next match of the series, Nepal will face the Netherlands on Saturday.
