Dipendra Singh Airee to miss the Tri-series due to injury

Before the start of the triangular series with Oman and the United States, the Nepali team has suffered a major setback.

National team’s experienced middle-order batsman Dipendra Singh Airee missed two games against Papua New Guinea due to a joint injury while fielding. Vice-captain Aiee will now miss the Oman series. Dipendra will miss the Oman series due to High Grade ATFL tear on his right leg.

Airee has been handling Nepal’s middle order regularly since 2017. Airy, who has been batting at number four in the ODIs, will be replaced by Rohit Poudel . Batting at number four in the second ODI against Papua New Guinea, Rohit scored a career-best 86 runs.
