CAN earns 24.6 million profit from the first edition of NPL
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has made public the income and expenditure details of the first edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The CAN Central Working Committee meeting held in Mulpani on Thursday made public the income and expenditure details of the first edition of the NPL.
CAN’s central working committee meeting informed that CAN earned a net profit of Rs 24.65 million, 789, from the first edition of NPL. CAN earned a total income of Rs 276.964 million from NPL.
CAN has earned a profit of Rs 75,391,259 from the competition, with a total expenditure of Rs 201,157,359.
CAN has stated that 50 percent of the revenue from the profits received has been distributed to eight franchise teams. Accordingly, the teams have received a total of Rs. 43.74 million.
