Nepal ‘A’ lost to Assam by 18 runs
Assam State Team has defeated Nepal A. Assam defeated Nepal A by 18 runs. Chasing the target of 175 runs set by Assam, Nepal A scored 156 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Captain Anil Shah top-scored for Nepal with 67 runs. Earlier, Assam, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 174 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
For Assam, Sumit Gadigaokar top-scored with 70 runs, while Rishikesh Tamoli scored 45, and Nihar Deka scored 37 runs. Akash Chand and Ahmed Bashir took 2 and 1 wickets, respectively. After this win, the 5-match series has been tied 2-2, and the final and decisive match of the series is now scheduled to be played tomorrow.
