FIFA WC: Iran and New Zealand draw
Iran and New Zealand are tied in the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Iran and New Zealand were held to a 2-2 draw in their opening match at Los Angeles Stadium on Tuesday.
Ezekiel just scored both goals for New Zealand. He gave New Zealand the lead in the seventh minute of the match. Iran then equalized in the 32nd minute of the game. Ramani Rezain scored for Iran to equalize the game.
Then, Just scored for New Zealand to take the lead in the 54th minute of the game, but New Zealand’s lead did not last long again, and Mohammad Mohebbi scored for Iran in the 63rd minute to level the game.
After the draw, all four teams in Group G have one point each. Belgium and Egypt also drew with one goal each in this group. Iran will now play their next match against Belgium on June 22 and Egypt on June 26. Similarly, New Zealand will play Egypt on June 22 and Belgium on June 27.
