IPL : Kolkata Knight Riders into the play offs
Kolkata Knight Riders has reached for the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In last night’s match, Kolkata secured their place in the playoffs after defeating Mumbai Indians. Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Mumbai Indians by 18 runs.
Mumbai, chasing the target of 158 runs given by Kolkata, scored 139 runs after losing 8 wickets in 16 overs.
Kolkata, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 157 runs losing 7 wickets in 16 overs.
After this victory, Kolkata has 18 points in 12 games and has been selected for the playoffs.
Similarly, this is the ninth defeat of Mumbai Indians. With 8 points from 13 matches, Mumbai are in ninth place and have already been eliminated from the race for the playoffs.
