NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards on Magh 12
This year’s Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) Pulsar Sports Awards will be held on Magh 12, 2080. In a press conference organized by NSJF the date of award was announced.
There was a sponsorship agreement with Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt Ltd as the main sponsor of NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards.
Abhimanyu Golcha, Executive Director of Hansraj Hulaschand Company and Devendra Subedi, President of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum, signed the sponsorship agreement.
9 categories are included in the award. The categories are Best Sportsman of the Year Male, Best Sportswoman of the Year, Best Youth Sportsman of the Year, Best Coach of the Year, People’s Choice Award, Para Athlete Award, Special Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Asian Sports Journalist Award.
According to the organizers, the nominations for the male, female, youth, coach and people’s choice players of the year will be announced in a few days time. The winners of Lifetime Special, Para Athlete and Asian Sports Journalist Awards will be announced on the same day of the event.
According to the main sponsorship agreement, Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. will give a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle to the winner of 5 categories namely sportsperson of the year, male, female, people’s choice, coach and youth athlete. Winners of other categories will be given various gift hampers with 50,000 rupees each.
