ACC Premier Cup : Nepal beats Qatar
Nepal defeated Qatar by 32 runs and achieved its second consecutive victory in the ACC premier cup . Chasing the target of 211 runs given by Nepal, Qatar scored 178 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Nepal batted first and scored 210 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 64 unbeaten runs with aggressive batting. Dipendra completed his half century in 19 balls. Dipendra hit 6 sixes in 6 balls in the last over. Aasif Sheikh scored 52 runs, Kushal Malla scored 35 runs, captain Rohit Paudel scored 18 runs,Kushal Bhurtel scored 12 runs, Sandeep Jora scored 7 runs and Gulshan Jha scored 5 runs.
Himanshu Rathod and Musawar Shah took 3 wickets each for Qatar
After this win, Nepal has 4 points in 2 games in Group A. Nepal is now scheduled to play its next match against Hong Kong on Monday.
