Nepal’s SAFF Dream Continues, Hopes to Beat Kuwait in New Chapter
Nepal is all set to face Kuwait in their opening match of the SAFF Championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
Despite minimum preparations, head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese up hopeful to bring a good result against tournament favourites Kuwait.
Nepal has never won a SAFF Championship and has just been in a final once. SAFF is a dream for whole Nepal and hopefully Nepal will look for a win against Kuwait to start this chapter in grand fashion.
Nepal and Kuwait have been meeting regularly. Since 2019, the two have played five times with Kuwait winning four and drawing one. This is the first time Kuwait features in SAFF as guest nations.
