Nepal and Bangladesh second friendly match ended in a draw

Nepal and Bangladesh have played their second friendly football match. Both the teams could not score in the allotted time of the match . Even though both the teams got an important opportunity to score a goal, the game ended in a draw as they could not kiss the ball.

Under the captaincy of Renuka Nagarkoti, the Nepali women’s team created good opportunities against Bangladesh but was denied by the Bangladesh keeper. Earlier, Nepal had won the first friendly match. In the first friendly match, debutants Sabita Rana Magar and Preeti Rai scored a goal to give Nepal victory.

In preparation for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, the Nepali women’s team played two friendly matches against Bangladesh at home. Nepal, which is in Group F of the Asian Cup qualifiers, will play against the Philippines on September 18 and Hong Kong on September 21. The Nepali women’s team will leave for Uzbekistan tomorrow.
