Biratnagar’s second consecutive win in NPL

Biratnagar Kings have defeated Kathmandu Gorkhas by 5 wickets in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Biratnagar defeated Kathmandu by 5 wickets in the match held on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 135 runs set by Kathmandu, Biratnagar achieved the target in 17.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. In Biratnagar’s victory, George Munsey top-scored with 36 runs, while Martin Guptill scored 25 runs and Naren Bhatt scored 24 runs.

Similarly, Kathmandu bowler Shahab Alam took 2 wickets, while Karan KC, Gerard Erasmus and Santosh Yadav took one wicket each.

Earlier, Kathmandu’s Adil Alam, batting first, scored the highest 48 runs, while Ben Charlesworth scored 32, and Santosh Yadav scored 26 runs.
