CEC into the semi-final of the NCCS Women’s and Men’s T-20 Cricket Tournament
Kathmandu Cricket Excellent Center has entered the semi-finals of the NCCS Women’s and Men’s T-20 Cricket Tournament.
Kathmandu Cricket Excellent Center defeated Bhaktapur Cricket Center by 5 wickets in the match held at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Wednesday and confirmed their place in the semi-final.
Chasing the target of 93 runs given by Bhaktapur, Kathmandu scored 95 runs losing five wickets in 15.1 overs.
Sonu Devkota scored the highest 34 runs of 33 balls for Kathmandu CEC. While Dipendra Rawat was out for 26 runs, Surya Tamang remained unbeaten for 12 runs. Bhaktapur’s Vikas Agri and Amar Rautela took 2 wickets each. Deepak Bohora took 1 wicket for Bhaktapur.
Bhaktapur, who started batting before that, scored 92 runs losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Puran Thapa of Bhaktapur scored the highest 35 runs of 39 balls. Deepak Bohra was dismissed for 11 runs and Binod Tamang for 8 runs.
Surya Tamang took the highest 4 wickets for Kathmandu CEC. Sonu Devkota took two wickets and Unish Bikram Singh took one wickets for Bhaktapur Cricket Center
