ICC CWC 2023: India’s comprehensive victory against Afghanisthan
India has won the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup for the second time in a row. In the match completed on Wednesday, India defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets and achieved their second consecutive victory in the World Cup.
Chasing the target of 273 runs given by Afghanistan, India achieved the target by losing 2 wickets in 35 overs.
Captain Rohit Sharma played a century of 131 runs in India’s victory, Ishan Kishan scored 47 runs, Virat Kohli scored 55 runs unbeaten and Shreyas Iyer scored 25 runs unbeaten.
