NPL : Janakpur Bolts’s second win, Karnali defeated by eight wickets

Janakpur Bolts have won their second win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Janakpur defeated Karnali Yaks by eight wickets while achieving their second win in a row

Chasing the target of 142 runs given by Karnali Yaks in the match held at the TU Ground on Monday, Janakpur finished with the loss of two wickets in 15.1 overs.

For Janakpur, captain Anil Kumar Sah scored 52 runs in 35 balls with the help of 6 fours and two sixes. Anil remained unbeaten on 62 off 42 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes.

Similarly, another opener Aashif Sheikh scored 36 runs. Anil and Aashif put on a brilliant partnership of 84 runs for the first wicket and gave Janakpur a good start. In 13.5 overs, Ashif Mausam was caught out by Dhakal’s bowling Dev Khanal.

Similarly, Lahiru Milanatha was dismissed for 24 runs while James Jiminism remained unbeaten for 16 runs.

On the other hand, Musham Dhakal and Zeeshan Maqsood took one wicket each for Karnali.

Before that, Karnali, who won the toss and batted first, scored 141 runs by losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

With the win, Janakpur has added four points from two games. Defeated Karnali started the tournament with a defeat.
