New Zealand into the final of the ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup

New Zealand has reached the final of the ongoing T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa. New Zealand defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the first semi-final of the World Cup.

Earlier, South Africa, who had batted first after losing the toss, scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. For South Africa, Marco Janssen scored an unbeaten 55 runs, while Dewald Brevis scored 34 runs, and Tristan Stubbs scored 29 runs. 

Similarly, New Zealand bowlers Matt Henry, Cole McConchie, and Rachin Ravindra took 2 wickets each, while Lockie Ferguson and Jimmy Neesham took one wicket each. 

New Zealand has reached the final of the T20 World Cup for the second time. Previously, they reached the final in 2021 and lost to Australia. Similarly, South Africa, the runner-up in 2024, has ended its World Cup journey with this defeat.
