Chelsea’s winning start to the new English Premier League

Chelsea has made a winning start to the new English Premier League season. In a match held last night, Chelsea defeated Fulham 3-2. Chelsea took the lead just 31 seconds into the match. João Pedro scored from a pass by Cole Palmer, giving the team a 1-0 lead.

This became the fastest goal scored in the early stages of the new Premier League season. Fulham’s Joshua King scored in the 23rd minute to level the match at 1-1. However, Chelsea took a 2-1 lead after Morgan Rogers scored with four minutes remaining in the first half. Just minutes into the second half, Cole Palmer scored in the 49th minute to extend Chelsea’s lead to 3-1. Although Fulham’s Gonzalo Garcia narrowed the deficit by scoring in the 54th minute, no further goals were scored, and Chelsea secured a 3–2 victory.

With this win, Chelsea’s new manager Xabi Alonso secured three points in his very first Premier League match. All three of Chelsea’s forwards—Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers, and Cole Palmer—scored goals.
