Asian Games 2023 : Nepal Women’s Kabaddi team in semi-finals, medal confirmed
Nepal has reached the semifinals of women’s kabaddi of the ongoing 19th Asian Games. Nepal reached the semi-finals after Iran defeated Bangladesh in the group stage match today. Iran defeated Bangladesh 54-16 in this match.
After reaching the semi-finals, Nepal’s medal is confirmed. Although defeated in the semi-final, Nepal will win the bronze medal by finishing third.
Iran, the gold medalist in women’s kabaddi of the last Asian Games, reached the semi-finals with two consecutive victories, while Bangladesh was eliminated.
Earlier, Nepal defeated Bangladesh in the Group B match and lost in the match against Iran.
Now the semi-final matches will be held on Friday. Nepal’s opponents in the semi-finals will be decided after today’s Group A match.
