Arsenal into Champions League quarter finals
Arsenal have reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League by defeating Portuguese club Porto 4-2 in the penalty shootout in the second league of the round of 16 that was completed last night.
After Arsenal won 1-0 in the first 90 minutes, Porto won 1-0 in the first league and after the result was tied 1-1, the game was played for 30 minutes of extra time.
After both clubs failed to score in extra time, the result of the match was decided by penalty shootout.
Along with this, Arsenal, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid have reached the quarterfinals of this season’s Champions League.
