Sandeep Lamichhane’s US visa rejected again
Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane’s US visa has been rejected again today.
After sending a note to the embassy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he was called for an interview but US embassy refused to grant him a visa.
Nepali cricket supporters had created pressure through social media and streets, demanding that he should be given a visa. With this, the possibility of Lamichhane going to play in the World Cup is now over.
Cricket Association of Nepal’s secretary Paras Khadka has issued a statement and informed that Sandeep Lamichhane has been refused a visa by USA. It has been mentioned in the statement that the American Embassy is unable to grant visas despite the necessary initiatives from the government and the ICC.
