PM CUP : Madhesh Province beats Koshi Province

Madhesh Pradesh has made a winning start in the Prime Minister’s Cup Mens National Tournament. Madhesh started victoriously by defeating Koshi Pradesh by 7 wickets.

Chasing the target of 128 runs given by Koshi at the Mulpani Cricket Ground, Madhesh completed it losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. Anil Kumar Shah made 88 runs for Madhesh.

He hit 14 fours and 3 sixes in 54 balls. Similarly, Harishankar Shah scored 24 runs while Niraj Yadav scored 9 runs. On the bowling side, Sonu Mandal of Koshi took two wickets. Similarly, Sujan Thapalia took one wicket.

Before that, Koshi, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 127 runs in 41 overs losing all the wickets. Ankit Subedi contributed 40 runs for Koshi. Similarly, Firdos Ansari scored 41 runs.

Pradeep Paspan took 3 wickets, Pawan Saraf, Rajesh Yadav and Ranjit Kumar took 2 wickets each. Madhesh Province will play next game against Tribhuvan Army Club on 15th January.
