ICC world cup qualifiers fixtures announced,Nepal to play the first match against Zimbabwe

The schedule of the ICC World Cup qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe next month has been announced. Nepal will play the opening game of world cup qualifiers against the host nation Zimbabwe on June 18.

In the second match, Nepal will play against USA on June 20 and the third match against West Indies is on June 22 . Nepal will play in the final match of the group stage against Netherlands on June 24.

The match against Zimbabwe will also be Nepal’s first recognized One Day International (ODI) match against a Test nation.

Ten countries are participating in this world cup qualifiers. The participating ten teams are divided into two groups.

Group A includes Nepal, Zimbabwe, West Indies , Netherlands and USA. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and UAE.

The top three teams of both groups will be qualified for the next round called the super six where every team will play a match against each other .After the completion of the league matches and super six, a playoff will provide the tickets to two teams for India to the World Cup 2023.
