The president of Mumbai Cricket Association died of a heart attack in New York
Mumbai Cricket Association President Amol Kale passed away in the United States of America.
The Indian media mentioned that 47-year-old Kale, who had come to USA to watch the match between India and Pakistan under the T20 World Cup, died of a heart attack.
Kale was elected as the President of MCA in October 2022. He defeated Sandeep Patil, a member of the 1993 world champion team, in the MCA president election. Kale was instrumental in doubling the match fee for domestic players playing in Ranji and other domestic tournaments for Mumbai.
He along with two other MCA officials went to watch the T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday.
MCA Secretary Ajinkya Nayak and Apex Council member Suraj Samat were also present with him.
