Aaha Rara Gold Cup : TAC wins the title beating Three Star Club
Tribhuvan Army Club won the Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup football title. Army won the title of Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup by defeating Three Star Club 3-0 in the final match held at Pokhara Stadium on Saturday.
Gillespie Jang Karki, Fatteman Ghale and Basant Zimba scored one goal each in Army’s victory. This is the first Aaha Rara Gold cup title for Army.
Gillespie scored in the 38th minute of the game to give Army the lead. Army led 1-0 in the first half and managed to score two more goals in the second half.
In the 83rd minute of the game, Ghale scored a goal and made the Army’s lead 2-0. Basant scored in extra time to give Army a 3-0 victory.
Army, who won the title, received a trophy with 1.2 lakh 1 thousand in cash, while the runner-up Three Star received 6 lakh 1 thousand in cash.
