Nepal wins first practice match against Windward Volcanoes

Nepal has won the first practice match against Windward Volcanoes by 4 wickets. Windward Volcanoes batted first and scored 196 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing the target of 197 runs given by Winwards, Nepal completed it by losing 6 wickets in 19.3 overs. For Nepal, opener Kushal Bhurtel scored 71 off 42 balls and Dipendra Singh Airee scored an unbeaten 52 off 25 balls. Sompal Kami was unbeaten on 35 runs.

Nepal, which is preparing for the World Cup, will play two more practice matches against Winwards Volcanoes at West Indies. Nepal will now play the second practice match on May 16 and the third practice match on May 18.
