We will give our best to reach Super 8: Rohit Poudel
Nepali national cricket team captain Rohit Paudel has said that the team will play with the intention of winning against South Africa. Speaking at the press conference held before the match against South Africa, Captain Poudel said that to be selected for the Super Eight, both South Africa and Bangladesh have to win and he said that he is excited to play against South Africa.
He said that South Africa is playing good cricket and said that they are not clear about the condition of West Indies and captain Rohit said that they will play by adopting the condition. He said that even in West Indies, it will be difficult to make the batsmen score runs.
Rohit said that it will be a good total if he can score 160 runs in the South Africa match and said that with the arrival of Sandeep, Nepal’s bowling unit has improved. All the players are excited saying that they will go to the field with the intention of winning against South Africa.
Rohit said that the skill of South Africa is good but if we play our best game we can beat South Africa. He said that the performance of one or two players will not win the test cricket playing country and he said that all the players should play as a team.
Rohit said that the Nepali fans are supporting him regardless of the result and expressed his belief that they will continue to support him in the future.
Nepal will play against South Africa in Group D tomorrow from 5:15 am at Arnos Val Stadium in St. Vincent, West Indies.
