Asian Games : Nepal lost to Iran in women’s Kabaddi, possibility of semi-finals remains alive
Nepal lost to Iran 43-19 in women’s kabaddi of the 19th Asian Games.
Iran is the gold medalist in women’s kabaddi at the last Asian Games. After this victory, it is certain that Iran will reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
Nepal had earlier defeated Bangladesh in the Group B match. Despite losing the match against Iran, Nepal still has the possibility of reaching the semi-finals and winning a medal.
In the last match of the group, Iran will face Bangladesh on Wednesday and after the result of that match, it will be clear whether Nepal will reach the semi-finals.
