Help Nepal wins the 8th RBB NVA Men Volleyball Championship 2080
Help Nepal Sports Club has won the title of NVA Volleyball Men’s Championship 2080.
Help Nepal won the title by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club in a set of 3-2 in the final match held today at the National Sports Council’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwor. Pakistani players were included in the Help Nepal team.
Army won the first set 25-20. Army lost the very competitive second set 25-27. Army, which had a 6-point lead at one point, lost a point to Help Nepal in the end.
The second set was 22-22, 23-23, 24-24, 25-25. However, in the end, Help Nepal won the second set 25-27 by adding 2 consecutive points.
Army again won 23-25 in a very exciting third set. After trailing by 4 points at one point, Army took a 2-1 lead.
Army, who opened the account only after scoring 8 points in a row in the fourth set, scored 3 points in a row to make it 8-3.
After that, Help Nepal, who had been leading continuously, made a lead of 24-22 again from the situation of 22-22. After trailing by 2 points, Army managed to bring it back to 24-24. Help Nepal became champions for the second time by winning 22-20 over Army in the fifth and final set which was very exciting.
With this victory, Help Nepal received a cash prize of five lakhs, while the runner-up Tribhuvan Army received a cash prize of two lakhs. Similarly, Nepal Police Club came third and received 125,000.
