CAN calls up 24 players for closed training for the T20 World Cup

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has called 24 players for a closed training camp for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 selection. On Sunday, CAN called up the initial players for closed training, including players who performed well in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

CAN has included Sher Malla, Binod Bhandari, Ishan Pandey, Rupesh Singh, Avinash Bohora, and others who have performed well in the NPL.

The team includes Rohit Poudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Sandeep Jora, Gulshan Jha, Sompal Kami, Nandan Yadav, Lalit Rajvanshi, Lokesh Bam, Arif Sheikh, Adil Alam, Karan KC, Sahab Alam, Sher Mall, Bhim Sarki, Ishaan Pandey, Bashir Ahmed, Binod Bhandari, Abhinash Bohora, Pratish GC, and Rupesh Singh.

The ICC World Cup will be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. CAN has stated that the preparation camp for the World Cup will begin on Monday.
