Nepal becomes runner-up in Cava Women’s U-19 Championship
Nepal has emerged as the runner-up in the Cava Women’s U-19 Championship. Nepal emerged as the runner-up after losing 3-2 to Kyrgyzstan in five sets in the final match held in Sri Lanka on Sunday.
The Nepali team, which won the first set of the match 25-22, was defeated 25-20 in the second set.
Nepal was defeated 25-21 in the third set, but in the fourth set, Nepal made a comeback and won 25-13. Nepal was defeated 15-11 in the fifth and final set and settled for the silver medal.
Nepal had won the bronze medal in last year’s championship.
