NPC won the Cava Women’s Volleyball Club Championship title
Departmental team Nepal Police Club has won the title of Kava Women’s Volleyball Club Championship.
Police won the title by defeating Humo Volleyball Club of Uzbekistan in a set of 3-0 in the final match held on Saturday in Male, Maldives.
Police won the first set 25-16, the second set 25-22, the third and final set 25-23.
Police went undefeated and made it to the finals. Police defeated Humo 3-0 in the first match of the league stage. Police then beat Sri Lankan Air Force Sri Lanka and Tajikistan’s Dimed Volleyball club in equal sets 3β0.
Police faced a tough challenge against home team WAMCO and won 3-2 sets. After that win, Police reached the final before the last match.
Police maintained their unbeaten run by defeating fellow home team Maldives Police Club 3-1 in their last match of the league stage on Friday.
Police participated in the club championship as the champions of the eighth Prime Minister’s Cup women’s volleyball league.
